How to make a claim

Making an insurance claim shouldn’t make a hard time even harder. The North Cover team will keep the process as simple as possible, so your loved ones can receive their payout quickly and easily. Here’s how to get in touch if the time comes.

Step 1: Contact us

Your beneficiary should notify North Cover that a claim will be made. Simply call us at 1-844-201-31451-844-201-3145 or email us at and we will help you get the process started.

Step 2: Complete the required claim form and provide:

  • evidence of the death of the person insured
  • date of birth of the deceased
  • proof of beneficiary identity, such as a driver’s license
  • name and age of any nominated beneficiary, if applicable

We may also require further information, such as a Death Certificate, Coroner or Toxicology or Autopsy Report, if one has been issued as may be required by applicable laws.

Step 4: Claim review

For a claim to be fully assessed, we require the completed claim form and supporting documents, as well as any additional information we may request.

Approved claims are generally paid within 2-5 business days.

If we are unable to pay your claim, we will explain why, and you will have the opportunity to present additional information to support your claim.
